The histarical talent show

Today we had music, and library. Of course we had fun at both, but one thing we enjoyed most likely is when we did a little talent show. Our classmate played a very, beautiful piece on the piano. Towards the end of music it was our turn to do our own show and we sang a song from High School Musical 2, and the name of the song was We Can Work This Out. Geting closer to the end of the day we had Science, there we watched a movie about weather. Then we had History, that's when it was the real deal,we tried to put a theory toghter about The Lost Colony.Well that's our day in conclusion,it was an ASTONISHING Wednesday.

An Artistic Day

Today was awesome; we started by doing a pinky greeting and hot potato. Then we corrected our DLR. Then we started our new non fiction packs. After that we went to art and finshed our dragon flys and drew art cards. Then we had an awesome math class. After that we had a cool lunch where the two quietest tables won lolipops"2 FOURTH GRADE TABLES"won. Than we went to recess and did some ball slaming nation ball. Next we went to history and found out about a mystery that nobody has solved in the world and it is called the lost colony. Then we watched a video in science. Finally the day is over and we sit here writing this blog while other people talk,do homework and write there scary stories.

CAMPOUT DAY

A little rain could not dampen our Campout Day. Despite the dreary weather, we listened to guest speakers and helped pitch a tent inside Mr. E's classroom. So many of our amazing parents worked to provide us with an outstanding cook out....in the breezeway! We finished the day with some "Sleeping Bag" DEAR time, and braved a rain shower to continue our pursuit of the perfect Nation Ball match.

Thank you parents, families, and students for working together to make this a fantastic day!

GYMNASTICS MONDAY

Mondays are never average, but today's was exceptional. We began the day with PE and Foreign Language (fun as always). When we returned to class, we had snack and DEAR time. During LA, we finished our Lady of Shalott paragraphs and read further in our Gary Paulsen books. At 11:00, we had a major change of pace as we ventured to the gym for a presentation by a group of Danish gymnasts. We were awed, amazed, energized...you name it! After lunch, Mr. E's and Mrs. B's math groups had assessments to complete. In science, we played Weather Jeopardy in preparation for our test on Wednesday. "I'll take Climate for $800, Mrs. B." We ended the day with a competitive set of Nation Ball matches. As you can see, it was not your average Monday.

THE AMAZING THURSDAY!

We the 4'th graders, started off our day with the one and only Computer Lab where we ,challenged Mr. E's 4'th grade class in puzzles, not just any puzzles but stick puzzles!
Then we came back and ate snack while some people studied for our Wordly Wise test and if you don't know what Wordly Wise is well it's vocabulary.
After eating snack we wen't to P.E. and that stands for Physical Education, and Mrs. B's class played soccer while Mr. E's class swam. Right after that we all came back to get ready for a great math class. Then we ate lunch in a really loud room. After lunch we are going to take a really hard and a exciting Wordly Wise test.
AND AGAIN IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT WORDLY WISE MEANS IT MEANS vocabulary basicly! And one more thing this is one very out of the ORDINARY DAY!!!

WHAT A WEDNESDAY!

We have been so busy these last two weeks....we even forgot to blog! Our days have been packed full of fun and work. Today we began the day with Mrs. Atkins in library and a speedy snack when back in class. Music was fantastic, as always...thank you Mrs. Calloway! In math, we are finishing our review of addition and subtraction and beginning our journey into multiplication. In reading, we continued to read our adventure books by Gary Paulsen and we were given our next non-fiction packets. Some of us are working on comprehending a rebate form while others are delving into a set of board game rules. Our weather unit in science continues, and today we experimented with and discussed two parts of the water cycle. We also talked about water exhibiting three of the four phases of matter. In history, Mr. Evans shared Native American artifacts and began our study of the First Americans. What an exhausting day, and we didn't even have recess!
